23:20 29 February 2016

Firefighters in Suffolk were called to tackle two blazes earlier today.

The first happened around 9.14pm in Ipswich Road, Holbrook.

A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said two appliances had been sent to a chimney fire and had been supported by an aerial pump from Essex.

Later in Lowestoft, around 9.32pm, two crews from the town were sent to Marsh Road in Oulton Broad.

The spokesman said there were reports of a caravan fire, which was tackled by the firefighters attending and extinguished by 9.51pm.
