A careers fair held at a Suffolk school to help inspire students has welcomed a record numbers of employers.
A total of 46 organisations from diverse sectors including finance and the armed forces attended Thomas Mills High School in Framlingham on Thursday.
Jane Wheeler, careers and work experience co-ordinator at the school, said she was “extremely pleased” with how it went.
“We had record numbers of visitors and hopefully the students will have come away inspired and with a greater awareness of the sorts of companies that are out there,” she said.
Headteacher Philip Hurst said it was a very successful event.
“There were a lot of employers there and all the pupils I spoke to said their minds had been widened to think about possible careers and skills they might not have considered before,” he added.
