Police appeal

A man had his hand bitten by a dog while walking along the Esplanade in Frinton.

The Jack Russell-type terrier dog left three puncture marks on the 58-year-old victim’s left hand.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident, which took place on July 29.

The dog was with a man who was white, well-spoken, of slim to medium build, aged in his early 50s wearing sunglasses and a light grey polo top with horizontal stripes, blue Crocs and khaki shorts.

The man had two dogs, one called Louis and a white Westland terrier.
