The children from Bacton Community Middle School performed in their production of Ernie’s Incredible Illucinations to family and teachers over three nights.

Teacher and artistic director Jason Calvert said: “Our pupils have shone this week. The singing and music has been a great delight for our audiences and the cast have brought many a laughter from their acting and character performances.

“We have had super audiences, entertaining 220 on our final evening. We have had 81 pupils actively involved in all aspects of the production, plus our oldest contributor, the backstage manager, who has racked up 36 years of production here at Bacton, Hav Wilkins.”

This year the school is celebrating its 50th anniversary since it opened and decided to chose the play from the long list of past productions. New songs were written by member of staff John Rednall.
