More than 65 children took part in an ultimate water fight at Bury St Edmunds Leisure Centre to mark the end of the school summer holidays.
Children aged five to 14 filled up water pistols and buckets of water at the centre’s West Suffolk Athletics Track in one of the most popular events of the centre’s summer holiday camp programme.
The summer holidays camps have been a huge success with more children taking part over the six weeks than ever before. It has been one of the most varied holiday activities programmes at the centre and included climbing, athletics, swimming, team sports, football, basketball, cycling, racket sports, squash, tennis and film afternoons. The brand new pizza-making workshop at Frankie & Benny’s, in Bury, also proved a popular event.
