Brownie packs across Suffolk are celebrating their 100th anniversary this year and the festivities are already under way.

The Brownie pack based at Orwell Park School has put on a fashion show to display the Brownie and Girl Guide uniforms through the years.

The Brownies started out life as the Rosebuds in 1914 before changing their name to the one that we recognise today.

The organisation was founded by Lord Baden Powell after a group of girls showed up at his first Scout Jamboree at Crystal Palace in London, 1909.

Several members of the Royal Family became Brownies and Guides.

A picture from 1937 shows the future Queen as a Guide patrol leader with her younger sister, Princess Margaret, as a Brownie.

At Orwell Park School the girls are led by Dawn Lupton, a matron at the school whose family have a history of participation in the Brownies.

Dawn has a collection of uniforms dating backto the 1930s which she had the girls model during their very own fashion show.
