Suffolk Constabulary recruited an enthusiastic division of young officers for a morning of fun policing activities.
Children in the reception class at Queen’s House, the pre-preparatory department of Woodbridge School, enjoyed learning all about law enforcement during a visit by Police Community Support Officers Graeme Hawkes and Marie Smith.
As well as finding out more about their local constabulary, the children were able to try on some police hats and hi-vis jackets. They also got the chance to sit behind the wheel of police car.
They were all so captivated by the visit that the officers were on the receiving end of an endless flow of questions throughout the morning.
The siren on the car proved to be the most popular piece of equipment and duly silenced the youngsters when employed.
