An abandoned puppy is settling into life with a new owner - and a new name.
Last month, we reported on Maverick, the deaf Dalmatian found alone in Rendlesham.
Following an appeal - and a stay at Pampered Pets in Glevering, near Woodbridge - he now has a new home, a new name - Rupert DogStar - and a new owner Linda Thurston, who recently lost two of her own dogs, but said her home was “once again full of joy” following Rupert’s arrival.
Emma White, from Pampered Pets, thanked everyone who got in touch with advice or offers of a new home.
Pampered Pets has a number of dogs still waiting to find new homes.
