A man who was arrested following an incident in Gorleston in which a man suffered serious head injuries has been released on police bail.

A man from the Lowestoft area, aged 43, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and has been bailed pending further inquiries until April 7.

The 45-year-old victim was found in a property on Springfield Road on the morning of February 4 and remains in a critical condition at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

All parties are known to one another.
