Two people have been injured in a crash on the A131 near Halstead.

Police were called at 9.55pm to the main road which is closed in both directions after the single vehicle crash.

A force spokeswoman said: “There’s a couple of people with minor injuries, it does not seem to be serious. The road is closed for now while we attend the scene.”

The road is closed between the Peterfield’s Lane junction and the Plaistow Green Road junction.
