The ambulance service was called to a crash involving a bus and car where casualties sustained minor injuries.

A report of the collision, in High Street, Great Yeldham, near Halstead, came in at around 9.30am.

An ambulance spokesman said a woman in her 70s was treated for minor injuries to her arm and leg at the scene.

A man in his 30s was assessed but did not require hospital treatment.
