  • I was present at the time of the accident. Unfortunately, the rider of the motorcycle appeared to lose control of her vehicle and left the highway, entering the adjacent field at around 40 mph. The vehicle she was travelling on was 2 cars ahead of me and so the rear of her bike was the first thing that I saw,...as it was flying through the air ! The emergency services were immediately informed and attended quickly. A roadside assessment was made by the paramedics and after around 30 minutes, the rider was taken away for hospital treatment. Thankfully, this was a low speed accident with no other vehicles involved. Many thanks to all passers-by that slowed and offered help. I hope for a speedy recovery for the young rider.
