POLICE have arrested a man in connection with a major blaze in Hadleigh which saw 100ft fireballs shoot into the air.

Three fuel tankers exploded at a depot on the Lady Lane Industrial Estate around 6.40pm on Friday, November 16.

Officers have now arrested a 20-year-old from Hadleigh on suspicion of arson.

He was arrested on Saturday, December 15, and taken to Bury Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

He has now been released on bail while police continue their investigations.
