AN arsonist is today wanted after three vehicles were set alight in the early hours of today.

The attack happened in Raven Way, Hadleigh shortly after midnight.

Firefighters arrived at the scene to find one van and two cars engulfed in flames.

Battling the blaze wearing breathing equipment, the crew from the town’s fire station had the incident under control by 1.06am.

A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said the incident is understood to have been started deliberately.

Fears were raised over the impact the strikes would have on A&E departments.

Strike action by thousands of junior doctors has been suspended so talks can continue, the Government and the British Medical Association (BMA) have announced.
