Police are appealing for information following a burglary in Blamsters Crescent, Halstead on February 25.

Sometime between 8.40am and 1.40pm thieves broke in via a rear patio door and made a messy search of the bedroom before stealing an Apple Mac Book Pro, LED widescreen notebook with a 13.3in screen.

Police have made house-to-house enquiries and they are appealing for any information from the public including any sighting of suspicious people or vehicles seen in the area during that time. Police also want to hear from anyone offered the Apple Mac to buy.

Anyone who can help is asked to contact Pc Victoria Butler at Braintree CID on 101.
