Harwich: Coastguard team rescue man stuck on saltmarsh

A man has been rescued by Thames Coastguard after becoming struck on the saltmarsh near Harwich.

Thames Coastguard was informed about the incident by Essex Police and Walton Coastguard arrived at the scene at about 11pm.

The team extracted the man via water rescue from the saltmarsh between Harwich and Walton.

He was not injured in the incident.
