POLICE in Haverhill are appealing for witnesses after a 13-year-old girl was approached by a man as she was walking home.
The teenage girl was walking along Connaught Road in Haverhill when she was approached by a man who started talking to her and then suggested he walk her home. The man then ran off.
The incident happened at around 3.25pm on Tuesday.
The approach from the man may have been purely innocent but police are keen to speak to him about his actions.
The man is described as white, of stocky build, and in his early 20s, he had blue eyes and was around 5’7’’ tall, he wore a black beanie hat, camouflage jacket, blue jeans and black boots.
