A MAN was repeatedly punched in the head and kicked by a gang of four men.

As he came level with the sewage works he saw a group of four men coming out from a wooded area.

They surrounded him, asked his name and told him to give them what he had on him. He replied that he had nothing.

He then felt a tug on his coat, turned around and was punched in the face and around the head.

After several more punches he fell to the floor and was kicked. He managed to get up and run away.
