Police are investigating after a car was pushed down a road in Haverhill

A group of youths pushed a parked car down a street in Haverhill in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Police are appealing for information after the incident, at around 1.10am yesterday.

The red Peugeot 206 had been left parked securely near the top of Girton Road. It was reported to have been pushed down to Ovington Place by a group of youths where it collided with a plastic salt bin. The group was then seen to run off down Girton Road.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact PC Matt Egan at Haverhill Police Station on 101 quoting reference HH/14/1229, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
