Police are appealing for information after an attempted armed robbery in Haverhill

Emergency services were at the scene of a two-vehicle crash in Haverhill.

Police were called at 7.55am to Silver Street in the town after a collision involving a Land Rover Defender and a Volkswagen Polo.

A force spokesman said the road had been blocked at the junction with Rectory Road and a female had suffered cuts to the face and chest pain.

The vehicles were later recovered.
