Police are on the hunt for a man who approached a seven-year-old boy

A seven-year-old boy was approached by a man who then asked the child to follow him.

The boy was playing outside when the man spoke to him between 2.50pm-3.05pm on Sunday in Linton Place, Haverhill.

The man asked him to follow him, which the boy refused to do, he then asked a further three times.

Police said the man is described as white, of slim build, around 5ft 6in- 5ft 8in tall and in his early 50s. He had short cropped grey hair and wore a thin black coat with grey jeans.
