Haverhill: Fire crews extinguish oven blaze in restaurant

Firefighters were called to a restaurant in Haverhill this afternoon following reports of a fire in the premises.

Two crews from the town’s fire station were sent to the incident in High Street at about 1.20pm. It was reported there was an oven fire.

Fire service personnel on the scene brought the blaze under control at about 1.45pm using one hose reel and a dry powder extinguisher.
