The incident took place sometime between 8pm on May 5 and May 8 in Falklands Road.

Three bikes were taken from a shed in the back garden of a house along with tools and a chainsaw.

Photos of two of the bikes are being released in case anyone recognises them or has seen them recently.

The first is of a men’s white Carrera racing bike and the second is of a men’s black Avalanche mountain bike.

The third bike, a men’s black, red and silver Dunlop mountain bike, was also stolen during the burglary.

If anyone thinks they may have seen any of these bikes recently or has any information in relation to the burglary they are asked to contact Sergeant Gary Miller at Haverhill Police on 101.

Fears were raised over the impact the strikes would have on A&E departments.
