Haverhill: Police appeal for information after two arrested for alleyway robbery

A man and a woman have been arrested by police on suspicion of robbery.

It relates to an incident yesterday when a woman in her 20s was robbed in an alleyway off High Street between 2.30pm and 2.45pm.

The victim was helped at the scene by members of the public and police want to hear from these people who may be able to assist them with their inquiries.

The man and woman arrested, who are 38 and 25 respectively and both from Haverhill, were arrested yesterday evening and are being held in custody at Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre.
