Helmingham: Air ambulance and paramedics called following collision involving car and two cyclists

Two cyclists have been injured in a collision with a car near Helmingham this afternoon.

Police, paramedics and the air ambulance were sent to the scene of the incident, which happened on the B1077 at about 12.55pm and involved two pushbikes and a Toyota.

One of the cyclists, a male, was taken to Ipswich Hospital with chest injuries, while the other cyclist was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital by air ambulance with a leg injury. Neither are thought to be life threatening.
