Pupils from Maidstone Infant School in Felixstowe have received hi-vis items from Barratt Homes to help them stay safe and seen as part of Road Safety Week.
Barratt Homes Eastern Counties donated 250 hi-visibility bag tags for pupils to wear while walking to and from school, making them easier to be seen on the road in the dark.
The homebuilder’s new 125-home development Walton Gate, on High Street, is under construction near the school.
Head of school Lucy Thompson said: “Maidstone Infant School always puts the care and safety of the children at the heart of everything we do. The hi-visibility bag tags from Barratt Homes are much appreciated now it gets dark so much earlier.
“Many of our children enjoy the after-school clubs at Maidstone Infant School and now find themselves walking home in the dark, so the new hi-visibility bag tags are a welcome addition to the school resources.”
