One woman has been taken to hospital after a one-vehicle collision in Higham.

The crash happened in Coalpit Lane, Higham, just after 1pm this afternoon. A fire engine from Bury and two from Newmarket were called to the scene and the woman had to be cut from her blue Renault Clio.

She was taken to West Suffolk Hospital. The road has been reopened.
