The Kingscliff Hotel in Holland-on-Sea has undergone a major refit in all areas and increased its number of bedrooms to 30.

The upgrade by the Flying Trade Group (FTG) has been hailed a shot in the arm for Tendring’s tourism industry and a show of confidence in the future of the district.

Brian van Oosten, a
spokesman for FTG, said the company was delighted with the turnout for the official re-launch.

He said: “A large number of people came along from the whole community and had the opportunity to look round the hotel and see for themselves the improvements that have been made.

“The feedback was excellent and we look forward to seeing many of them return to use the hotel for various functions in the future.

“It was fantastic to see them all there to join in a toast to the start of a successful era for this popular and renowned hotel.”
