Suffolk Police are appealing for help in tracing a Hollesley Bay prisoner who absconded this morning, Friday, February 14.

Police were contacted by the prison service today reporting that Gary Edwards, 31, who was serving a sentence for aggravated burglary was not present for the midday roll call.

He had been present at the 9am roll call and was last seen at 10.30am.

Edwards is described as white, 5’8” tall of medium build with short brown hair, brown eyes and he wears glasses. He has connections in Essex.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen him, or anyone with information about where he is now to contact officers. You should not approach him or take any further action.
