Leslie Gall, 53, is serving a life sentence for robbery. Police are appealing for help finding him.

They were called at 5pm to say Gall hadn’t returned from his work placement at a charity shop in Manningtree after lunch.

He hasn’t been seen since 12.45pm.

Gall is described as white, 5 foot 10 inches tall, of slim build, with grey hair, blue eyes and has a tattoo of a cross on his forehead. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a grey zipped jumper, black trainers, a beige hat and a dark and light blue jacket.

He has connections to the Arbroath area of Scotland as well as Hadleigh in Suffolk.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen him or anyone with information about where he is now to contact officers. You should not approach him or take any further action.

Call Suffolk police or your nearest police station on 101.
