Police are cracking down on drug dealing.

Crackdown on drugs in Ipswich has led to a man being charged with selling crack cocaine and heroin.

Alan McPhail, 52, of Wilberforce Street, Ipswich, was arrested yesterday following the execution of further warrants in the town.

McPhail has been charged with four counts of supplying class A drugs as police continue the crackdown on dealers in Ipswich.

He faces two counts of supplying heroin and two counts of supplying crack cocaine.

He has been detained in custody overnight and was due appear at Bury Magistrates’ Court today.
