A police helicopter was last night seen circling the skies above Ipswich following reports of an incident at a bowls club.

A Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said police were called to reports of someone jumping over the fence at a bowls club near Parkside Avenue at about 9.50pm.

No one had be found as of 10.45pm.
