A man “inappropriately grabbed” a woman near Ipswich town centre, police have said.

Officers are working to trace the man who briefly spoke to two women in Lower Brook Street before “grabbing one inappropriately”, a Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said.

It took place at around 11.30pm on Wednesday.

The man is described as of an Asian appearance, in his mid-20s to 30s with short dark coloured hair. He is around 5ft 7ins tall and was wearing jeans and trainers.

Witnesses or people with information relating to this incident are urged to call police on 101.
