The public are being asked to help trace a missing 45-year-old woman from Ipswich.

Tanya Nicholls of Kings Way, was last seen at around 3.55pm on Monday. She was in Woodbridge Road near the Co-op store when she left the people she was with and has not been seen since.

She is described as white, of medium build, around 5ft 5ins tall, with dark brown shoulder-length hair, hazel-coloured eyes and a cross tattoo on her right arm.

She was last seen wearing a dark grey/black woollen hat, a black jacket, sand-coloured jeans/leggings and grey trainers. She also may be carrying a black and white bag.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen Tanya, or Tanya herself to get in contact with Ipswich police on 101.

Emergency services including fire crews, police and a number of ambulance teams and rapid response vehicles are at the scene of a serious crash in Clacton this afternoon.
