Ipswich: Collision on Norwich Road double roundabout between van and bicycle

There are delays on Norwich Road, Valley Road and Chevallier Street after a collision between a van and a bike.

Police were called to the scene by the ambulance service at 7.40am.

The van involved was a Ford Transit.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said a man in his 40s was treated for chest injuries. He was then taken to Ipswich Hospital.

The spokesman confirmed a rapid response car, a paramedic officer and an ambulance were sent to the scene.
