Ipswich: Crews called to washing machine on fire

FIRE crews were called to reports of a washing machine on fire in Ipswich this evening.
Crews received the call at 7.15pm to a building in Mansbrook Boulevard in Ipswich.
The fire was on the ground floor of the building and people were reported to still be inside.
One appliance from Ipswich East and two appliances from Princes Street stations in Ipswich were mobilised.
On arrival, firefighters entered the laundry room of the building, extinguished the fire and removed the washing machine from the building.
Everyone in the building was accounted for and crews were back at base by 7.53pm.
