Ipswich: Dozy flytipper traced through ex-girlfriend’s name and address on rubbish he dumped in park

A flytipper who dumped his ex–partner’s rubbish in an Ipswich park has been ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £220 by the town’s magistrates.

Francis Gray, 25, of Stubbs Close, Ipswich, admitted depositing rubbish without a permit after borough council park patrol officers found a big pile of rubbish, including a carpet, general waste and furniture in Orwell Country Park. Among the rubbish was packaging with Gray’s ex-partner’s name and address on it.

  • By spending a few quid he could have got this rubbish disposed of legally; instead he's been fined (not enough, I agree, Miguel), and he's got a criminal record as well.

A young girl has died after she was found unconscious in a pool at Waveney River Centre at around midday today.
