The Coca-Cola Christmas truck, which has become a classic Christmas Icon over the years, stopped off in Ipswich to spread a little festive cheer.

Crowds lined up as streams of people arrived in town to get their picture taken with the bright red truck.

Families enjoying a drink or two while listening to the Coca-Cola brass band play an array of Yuletide tunes.

And the fun didn’t stop there, as children watched on in awe as the town was covered in a light blanket of snow too complete the festive scene.

  • It's just a big truck with an advert on it, thousands of those travel on the A14 every day, personally I don't see what's so special about it to queue for a photo with it?

  • I assume the company had to obtain permission from IBC to park on the Cornhill; if so, then shame on you. This is commercial exploitation of children and, of course, their parents who will be forking out for a drink that I think most would not dub a 'health drink'. And I am sure there are more positive Christmas events taking place in Ipswich (especially through charities) which this paper could be promoting.
