Ipswich/Felixstowe: Morning commuter trains cancelled because of fault

Two trains running between Ipswich and Felixstowe have been cancelled.

Both the 8.25am departure from Ipswich and the 8.54am from Felixstowe will now no longer run.

Train operator Abellio Greater Anglia has said this is because of a fault with the train.

  • The train was taken off the Felixstowe line to go to Cambridge. There was nothing wrong with the train, I was on the earlier one and it got taken off the service

  • Now there's a surprise! When are the people of Felixstowe going to get a reliable service? People flock to Felixstowe and having a reliable train service would only help take the strain off the A14!
