Ipswich: Fire crews battle garage fire in Gippeswyk Road

Fire crews battled for almost two hours to control a garage fire in Ipswich that broke out in the early hours of this morning.


The single-storey detached building in Gippeswyk Road was well alight when crews from Princes Street arrived at about 4.20am.

Crews used two hose reels and a jet to extinguish the fire, which was under control by 6.10am.
