Ipswich: Firefighters called to blaze involving shed, hedges and a house

10:52 05 July 2014

Archant

Firefighters in Ipswich were sent to a house in the town in the early hours of Saturday morning to reports of a fire.

Two crews from Princes Street were sent to the scene, in Woodbridge Road, at about 12.30am.

When crews arrived, they discovered one shed which was well alight and had spread to a nearby hedge and house.

Two hosereels were used to bring the fire under control just after 1.25am.

Firefighters on scene spent 20 minutes damping down the scene before returning to the base.
