Ipswich: Firefighters tackle out of control bonfire

Firefighters have tackled an out of control bonfire in Ipswich.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service received a call of the fire at a property on Braziers Wood Road at 7.01pm.

When the appliance from Ipswich East arrived, crews found the fire had spread to the garden and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.

The incident was under control by 7.32pm.

The Firefighters also administered first aid to a casualty, after they had received burns caused by the incident.

The casualty was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
