Four fire crews attended a house fire in Ipswich after a lightning strike during yesterday’s storm.

The blaze broke out at a house in Henslow Road, Ipswich, at 3.50pm on Thursday. Overall four pumps and the aerial appliance attended.

The fire was brought under control by 5.10pm and all occupants were accounted for.

At this stage the extent of the damage is not known.
