A MAN has been arrested following a series of burglaries in Ipswich.
The 26-year-old man from Ipswich was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of twelve counts of burglary and was taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre where he was questioned by detectives.
A police spokesman said: “He received no further action in relation to three incidents and was released on police bail pending further enquiries in relation to nine.
“The arrest relate to incidents at residential properties in Ipswich between Saturday November 17 and Sunday November 25.
“He was released on police bail today and must return to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre on Wednesday 23rd January.”
The arrests coincide with Suffolk Constabulary’s ‘Operation Drawbridge’, aimed at tackling burglaries across the county.

So, 12 dwelling burglaries in 8 days and bailed back into the community by the police. Great . Off you go and make a few more peoples lives a misery ! God help us !
