A police officer received minor facial injuries during an incident outside a pub in Ipswich this morning.

Police were called to the pub in Tower Street at 12.15am.

Mohamed Feghoul, 39, of Gippeswyk Road, Ipswich was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.

He was later charged and released on police bail to South East Suffolk Magistrates’ Court, in Ipswich, on Wednesday, May 28.
