The front of a busy town centre shop has been cordoned off this morning due to wind damage.

A safety cordon has been put up around the Marks and Spencer store in Westgate Street, Ipswich.

A Suffolk police spokesman said some roof tiles had been blown off in last night’s gale force winds and torrential downpours.

A man was rescued from a vehicle and taken to hospital following a three-vehicle crash.
