Police have charged a man with burglary.

A 31-year-old Ipswich man is due before magistrates today (Tuesday)charged with a shop burglary in Sutton.

Antonio Wells of Ravenswood Avenue was arrested by police yesterday (Monday) in connection with a break-in at the Mace store at Otley Road, when a large quantity of cigarettes, scratch cards and alcohol were taken on Thursday, December 19.

He was charged with burglary and arson and will appear at South East Suffolk Magistrates Court today.
