A teenage cyclist is in hospital after a collision with a vehicle near a sixth form college in Ipswich.

The 14-year-old suffered back injuries not thought to be serious in the incident involving a Citroen C8 in Scrivener Road, near Suffolk One, at around 7.25am today, an East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said.

The teenager was taken to Ipswich Hospital for further treatment.
