A teenage boy has been arrested following a broad daylight stabbing in Ipswich.

The 15-year-old victim was reportedly stabbed in the back at a car park near St Catherine’s Court in the Stoke Park area at around 1.20pm.

He was taken to Ipswich Hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.

This afternoon, Thursday, police have arrested a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

He has been taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
