Ipswich: Thousands of pounds worth of cigarettes and alcohol stolen from convenience store

Around £7,000 worth of cigarettes, alcohol and cash were stolen from a store in Upper Orwell Street.

The incident happened on Monday at around 2.20am. Offenders forced entry to the premises and stole around £6,000 of a variety of cigarettes, about £1,000 of alcohol, a Toshiba laptop and an amount of cash.

The offenders are described as of an “average build” and dressed in all dark coloured clothing.
